Chison EBit 60: Frequently Asked Questions

What is Qbeam imaging? QBeam on the Chison EBit 60 is a quad-beam technology where the ultrasound doubles the number of received signals, which improves image quality and frame rates.

What is XContrast? The XContrast software allows for three different one-touch settings of contrast resolution based on user preferences.

Does the Chison EBit have a high frequency linear for MSK, orthopaedic and other superficial imaging? Yes, the Chison EBit has a linear transducer up to 18MHz for excellent superficial imaging.

What is SuperNeedle Software on the Chison EBit 60? Super needle is Chison’s needle visualisation software for ultrasound-guided needle placement. It helps enhance the visualisation of the needle, allowing clinicians to see the needle inside the tissue more clearly during medical procedures. It can adjust the angle up to ±30 degree, which is better for deep vessel approach. Super needle uses acoustic beam fusion method, based on the normal image, to change the ultrasound beam direction and use low mechanical index, to enhance the metal visualisation.

How does this compare to the GE Vivid i or other portable cardiovascular ultrasound machines? Compared side-by-side with many ultrasound machines, we found the EBit 60 to be competitive with a GE Vivid i ultrasound machine. It outperformed all other portable cardiovascular ultrasound machines in its price range.
